My family and I recently celebrated Yom Kippur, the Jewish holiday of atonement. We talked a lot about forgiveness, which is one of the most powerful, growthful, and vulnerable acts we can do in relationships.

And because the quality of our relationships is the number one driver of our happiness, I thought I'd dedicate this Wednesday's Work Happier Weekly to it.

If you're new to my community, Work Happier Weekly's are shortish (~15 min) segments I offer LIVE on Facebook. This week I prerecorded because of the holiday.

I invite you to watch this video if you'd like to learn:

  • The biggest misunderstanding around forgiveness
  • The first thing you need to do to start healing from your difficult situation
  • My favorite zen story around forgiveness which helps me let go
  • Why forgiveness is essential for your well-being
  • Four tangible action steps to start forgiving

Watch the replay here. If you're moved to, please leave a comment and share what you've learned by forgiving another person.

My best to you!
Stella

I love my job!

This Fall I'm teaching The Work Happiness Method™ to a hospital and I'm speaking about how to prevent burnout and be resilient, how to stop feeling like an imposter, and how to thrive despite lots of change to a number of organizations including:

  • Etsy
  • Cigna
  • Happify
  • Steel Partners
  • Lee Health
